A crucifix cross made of 925 sterling silver with natural wood and black enamel

This cross was custom-made for our client. This massive silver cross combines traditional Orthodox symbols, natural wood inlays, and black enamel, creating a distinctive and deeply symbolic image.

The front is decorated with a three-dimensional crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Above the Savior's head is a plaque with the inscription "ИНЦИ." In the center of the composition is a round medallion with black enamel and the abbreviated inscriptions "SON OF GOD" and "IC ХС," executed according to the canons of Orthodox tradition. A decorative scale with graduations surrounds the medallion, adding depth to the composition.

At the ends of the cross are round medallions with traditional lettering: "IC" at the top, "XC" on the right, "NI" on the left, and "КА" at the bottom, forming the canonical inscription "IC XC NIKA" ("Jesus Christ Conquers"). The vertical and horizontal crossbars are complemented by natural wood inlays with a distinct texture, emphasizing the handcrafted quality and uniqueness of the piece.

The reverse side is decorated with a round icon of St. Demetrius of Thessaloniki. The saint is depicted in full armor, holding a shield and spear. The inscription "St. Demetrius of Thessaloniki" appears on the sides. The central medallion is framed by a decorative border with graining. The ends of the cross are adorned with round elements featuring eight-pointed crosses. The lower part is complemented by a decorative crossbar with a textured surface, echoing the style of the front.

The eye is solid, with an engraved cross and decorative elements that harmonize with the overall style of the piece.

This cross combines spiritual meaning, expressive design, and individual execution, emphasizing the status and uniqueness of its owner.
