This set was custom-made for our client. It consists of a silver cross on a wooden base with enamel, as well as a cast chain with the Algiz and Raido runes, crafted in a unified brutalist style with blackening.

Cross with Wood and Enamel

The obverse is decorated with a three-dimensional crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Above the head is the inscription "INZI." In the center is a round medallion with black enamel and the canonical inscriptions "IC XC" and "SON OF GOD." A decorative scale with graduations runs around the circumference.

At the ends of the cross are medallions with the letters "IC," "XC," "NI," and "KA," forming the inscription "IC XC NIKA." The crossbars are decorated with inlays of natural wood with a pronounced texture. The elements are enhanced with blackening, enhancing the contrast.

The reverse side is decorated with an icon of St. Demetrius of Thessaloniki in military armor, holding a shield and spear. The inscription "St. Demetrius of Thessaloniki" appears on the sides. The central medallion is framed with graining, and the ends of the cross are adorned with decorative eight-pointed crosses.

Cast chain with runes

The chain is made of intricately shaped cast links with round medallions. The main accent is the two links with runes. The Algiz rune symbolizes protection and patronage. The Raido rune signifies the path, movement, and direction in life.

The cylindrical elements are decorated with relief ornamentation and stars. All details are executed using a combination of polishing and blackening. The box clasp is massive and reliable, seamlessly continuing the overall design.

The set is designed in a unified style, combining Orthodox symbolism and runic elements, emphasizing the individuality and expressiveness of the jewelry.
